Wetherby Lions Grows Again

Lion President Martin Doxey welcomed Stuart Newcombe as a new member of Wetherby Lions. Stuart was born and bred in Wetherby, attending Wetherby High as a young lad. Moving to Harrogate after starting working work and entering the big world of living away from home. Returning to Wetherby 23 years ago at the tender age of 30.

Currently a presenter on the local radio station Tempo FM and a current member of Wetherby Town council. With the good of Wetherby close to his heart. Having spent some time helping the Lions in recent years, he decided now was the time to leap over into the world of his own Hi Viz, join the pride and help take the club forward for the good of local, national and international good causes.

Stuart will be a welcome addition to the team.
