Extra reindeer needed ! !

A big ‘THANK YOU!’ to Simon and the Tockwith reindeer!!

Santa is so busy that he has at least ten reindeer in the stables ready to go. This year, because of social distancing, he needed extra help to bring the festive spirit to Wetherby and Linton. Therefore, three extra reindeer were brought from the stables to pull the sleigh – Ben, George and Simon!

These extra reindeer pulled Santa’s sleigh for 10 nights round Wetherby and finished off in Linton on Friday 18th December. They are now safely back in their stables at Tockwith where they are well looked after. But these reindeer don’t just work at Christmas – they are employed all year round at the fantastic facilities operated by Tockwith Motor Sports!

The fantastic facilities have the Early Driver Learning Centre, the skid pan, the karting circuits and the proving ground. Simon Moore, who owns the circuit and associated facilities, feels now that he has the best facility for developing the next generation of racing talent, as they also have the cars to learn in and also to race. The Moore family also runs a very successful racing team running cars in the Junior Saloon Car Championship, Britcar, GT4 Southern European Series, to name but a few, taking overall championship wins in the past few years. But the facilities are not just for driver development. The whole site is a great destination for Corporate days, Stag and Hen dos, as well as car launches and car development both of road and race cars.
