Bob makes another trip to Ukraine!

Wetherby District Lions recently donated some wheelchairs for onward delivery to Ukraine to help wounded soldiers.

The people carrier used to transport them and other medical supplies will remain in Ukraine to help injured front line troops.

Bob is a retired truck driver from Knaresborough who has made eight trips to the Ukraine already, delivering medical, educational aid etc. As a result of his work, he has witnessed the horrors of the everyday life of the people of Volodymyr, a large regional town near the conflict zone which is in the process of twinning with Knaresborough.
