Another Triumphant Bed Race for 2023

Held every year on the second Sunday in June come rain or shine, the Great Knaresborough Bed Race organised by Knaresborough Lions Club with help from many other organisations and volunteer groups.

This year's event was held on the hottest day so far this year, it was quite a challenge for the bed teams, marshals and spectators alike.

Wetherby Lions were proud to help in a small way with Lions Guy and Tricia volunteering as marshals helping to keep the route clear and everyone safe to enjoy the day.

It wasn’t all hard work they did mange a sausage butty and an ice-cream ! !
